How It Works
It’s an Easy Four-Step Process:
- I will schedule a time convenient for you to meet in the comfort of your home to take a food preference assessment. At this consultation, I’ll also conduct an inventory of your kitchen appliances to ascertain which ones I should supplement from my private stock. At this meeting, we’ll also determine how frequently you wish to have the service. Weekly, bi-weekly or even less frequently are all options.
- Based on the number of meals you have chosen for each of my cook days (two – five meals), I will plan a menu with your tastes and dietary requirements in mind. On Thursday I will email you my suggested menu, allowing you to make changes to it. If you have favorite recipes, I would be happy to use them.
- On the day of the cook appointment, I will shop for the groceries, using only the freshest local, seasonal, and organic ingredients. I will then come to your house and cook the meals.
- You will come home to find in your refrigerator packaged gourmet meals with heating instructions, a spotless kitchen, and the lingering fragrance of home-cooked food (one client returned home while I was cooking and with glee said “it smells like Thanksgiving dinner in here!”).

Special Bonus I: (good for you, good for local small-scale organic farmers and provides me with a fun challenge and a way to put my values to work):
Have a standing order with a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm, such as Farm Fresh to You, where they routinely deliver a box of organic, sustainably-farmed produce directly to your home. I will craft my menus to use as much of the contents of the box of produce as possible. You’ll get the freshest meals possible, with the produce literally just picked from the fields.
